frESCO Kick-Off Meeting
All project partners connected remotely to discuss future actions, overcoming the limits of distancing.
On June 10th, the frESCO Kick-Off-Meeting took place in a completely unusual form: scheduled in Spain, however, it took place remotely to overcome the barriers created by the Covid-19 outbreak. The 14 partners, which form an international consortium, had the opportunity to present themselves and discuss future actions that will allow the project to be developed in the best possible way through a well-defined plan for the following months.
With the presence of the Project Advisor, Ulrike Nuscheler (EASME), and the Financial Officer, Martine Noak (EASME), the possible risks were assessed and important tips collected for the success of the project.
frESCO project has broken down into 8 different Work Packages (WPs) with the aim of creating new forms of Energy Performance Contracts in the residential field. To learn more about frESCO take a look at the Project Brief.
Under the guidance of CIRCE as consortium coordinator, who will take care of the Management and Coordination activities (WP1), the WPs leaders will be responsible for the development of the tasks, starting from the definition of the baseline and the identification of the requirements (WP2), to then proceed with the drafting of novel performance-based business models (WP3). Particular attention will be paid to big data management and privacy (WP4). In WP5, the multi-service package toolkits for service providers will be developed and then tested and validated in WP6. The exploitation and replication activities will then be outlined in WP7, while for widely spread frESCO results the dissemination and communication actions will be planned in WP8. In WP9 the ethics requirements the project must comply with will be established.
The project consortium is glad to be part of this collaboration and started to work hard to make this project a success.
